•Working alongside the DSO to manage the safeguarding of children and adults at risk.
•Responding to low level safeguarding/poor practice concerns.
•Co-ordinating safeguarding visits throughout the season to ensure that clubs create safe cultures and environments for everyone involved in football.
•Providing cover in the absence of the DSO.

•To recruit, convert, retain, develop and progress referees to service the game.   
•Lead the delivery of referee development initiatives for grassroots referees, promotion candidates and referees with the potential and opportunity to progress through the refereeing pyramid.   
•Lead on the planning and delivery of Nottinghamshire FA referee courses.
•Strategically co-ordinate the Nottinghamshire FA Referees Committee.

•Support with appeals and complaints – as part of the discipline process.
